To God Or To The Bathroom?

Our family has been having Family Bible Time for several months now each evening. We read a passage from the Bible first. Next we sing a couple songs (sometimes from a hymnal and sometimes kids' songs). After that, we ask the kids for prayer requests and then pray as a family for those requests. FBT usually takes about 10-25 minutes depending on the passage length and the time we have available. Sarah and I can really see the benefit of taking this time as a family every night. The children especially like the prayer time and the singing.

In fact, that is what the title is referencing. In the last three weeks, my 5 year old daughter and my 4 year old son have been heard singing "How Great Thou Art" in another room. It is such a blessing to hear them singing this beautiful song. The odd part of this is that the room they are singing the hymn in is our half bath. It made me start to wonder, are they singing in reference to God (which the hymn was intended for) or were they singing to the bathroom? God bless!
