Quotes for Thought 2

Wednesdays are going to become my quote days. I thought it would be a fun way to break up the week. Besides, this way you don't have to read my ramblings for 5-7 straight days.

"In seeking wisdom thou art wise; in imagining that thou hast attained it - thou art a fool." ~Lord Chesterfield

"To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom." ~Bertrand Russell

"Education is a better safeguard of liberty than a standing army." ~Edward Everett

"A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road." ~Henry Ward Beecher

Have a wonderful and blessed day today!

  1. I really like the quote from Henry Ward Beecher. But is it possible to have too many springs? Just wondering. Have a smooth-riding kind of day, Nate!

  2. Possibly, I guess. If you have too many springs you might get bounced from the wagon all together, then you might not be laughing. Besides, we all know how being too bouncy always got Tigger in trouble. LOL! Have a great day!
